The day had finally arrived, Tyler's 3rd Birthday party (take one - the second one will take place in Tatamy next week)... This is the first birthday that he actually had some sort of clue of what is going on.....
Ok, so it's hard to see, but he is blowing out his "3" candle... and insisted on keeping his eyes open to make his wish - which, by the way, was "to get a piece of cake" - the wish was completed shortly after the candle was blown out.
That crazy pinata - who came up with the idea to hit a thick cardboard pocket of candy hung from a rope, with a baseball bat? I would like a moment with him to explain that even when you CUT holes in that thing, it still takes about 365 whacks to get ANYTHING out of it.
he is very determined to get the goodies inside!
Ok, so after about a month of practicing his birthday song, he gets shy all of a sudden when 15 people are actually singing it to him.... but he was just determined to wish his wish just right...
"wait- this is for me??? I have been waiting soooooooooooo long for this moment!!"
