A day in Stuttgart

Stuttgart markthalle is a great market of fabulous food and great homemade treats. We ended up taking home some pumpkin soup, olives, chocolates and figs. It's easy to get there, as we took the train from our house to the downtown area and walked around for a little while.
The weather has been undeniably gorgeous this past week!

After lunch a a fabulous restaurant in Esslingen, we decide to scale the mountain and take the kids to the highest point in our town. There is a great garden and playground up there, but it sure is a hike to get to the top with a stroller. The kids (and grandparents) were real troopers!
The beautiful city of Esslingen Am Neckar in the background. You can beat this view!

Taking a moment to catch our breath.

 "Look 'nina'! I'm this big!"

We, of course, found the park at the top of the hill and as I snuck away to the hammock swing, everyone else played until they found out my secret and snuck into the swing with me

Fall is here, although the thermometer doesn't really show it, the leaves are starting to change color and fall to the ground. There is kürbis everywhere, and I have started autumn baking. Still not "sweatshirt" weather in Southern Germany, but we'll take it... for at least one more week, please!
